home again
my work in this series is called “home again”, and it explores a nostalgic, layered environment where the precocious inner child co-exists within the unmasked adult. i am making these pieces while living in my childhood home, so i am influenced by the plurality of roles that co-exist in the same space. in abstracting these emotions and experiences, i rely on classic design elements as well as intuitive practices to make space for vivid color and texture to play, rage, grieve, and love.
